From UMASC
The UMASC emerged from the DMASC (German Miniature Australian Shepherd Club). In September 2024, the MASCA board decided to establish a new
internationally oriented club to handle registrations for MASCA.
Our goal is to give all serious breeders and lovers of the "Mini Aussie" the opportunity to participate in a new club that places a
strong focus on the genetic health of the breed while offering excellent service to breeders and owners of Miniature Australian Shepherds
and Miniature American Shepherds.
The club aims to preserve the Mini Aussies in their original form as a smaller variation of the Australian Shepherds while
defining new rules so that dogs that descend exclusively from Australian Shepherds are not excluded.
All UMASC registered dogs receive dual registration with MASCA. UMASC addresses the international mini community as a whole to implement the genetic diversity and health of the breed as our top priority.
However, the focus should always be on having fun and enjoying these great dogs.
All fans of the Mini Aussies are welcome and we are happy to welcome all new members.
